Women For Women Home Buyers Workshop

Are You A Woman Thinking of Buying a Home?

The workshop showed us the details of the process of buying a house -- it showed things I didn't know.
Catalina

If you are you really need to consider putting a plan together so you don’t become one of the statistics of “People Who Did It The Wrong Way”.

Many women have concerns about taking on a mortgage and carrying costs that they won’t be able to handle in the long run.

They are worried about picking the right neighbourhoods so they will feel safe.
Even worse, what if they buy a “Money Pit” and don’t know how to fix or have the money to do the fixing.

I found it very informative and walked away with some myths dispelled, and new-found knowledge that I hope I can put into practice. The speakers were very knowledgeable and it was great to see different people speak in their experienced field.

All these concerns are valid but by educating yourself how to buy a home the right way you will be able to eliminate many of your concerns so that you can move forward towards your home buying goal.

We have created an environment for women which allows all the really frightening questions to be asked and in turn will be provided with very direct and honest answers.

We are inviting you to a Free Home Buyers Workshop which will educate you about the home buying process so you can avoid making mistakes that could cost you thousands of dollars.

Sally, Natalie and Stephanie discuss what people enjoyed about the workshop

You owe it to yourself to learn as much as you can about the home buying process so you can achieve your Home Buying Goal.

We find that the people who attend our workshops enjoy the home buying journey so much more as the fear of unknown is removed.

Not saying you won't have some anxiety (that is natural) but with knowledge comes power and attending this workshop you will have the knowledge to do this the right way.

This Home Buyers Workshop is moderated by Sally Cook, sales representative with RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Ltd. Brokerage, along with Natalie Lynch a Buyer Specialist from the Cook Team and Stephanie Matheson with TD Canada Trust.

To Register For The Next Women For Women Real Estate Home Buyer Workshop...

I attended your workshop Saturday morning and I wanted to thank you for all the information you (and the other speakers) provided. I have been to a number of workshops where they have solely been sales pitches to lure you to their office, and I have learned nothing.

Your seminar has opened my eyes and made me realize that there are people out there to support me and that buying a home doesn't have to be a terrifying experience.
Jaime

More Testimonials

Home buying can be a daunting task especially for a first time buyer like myself. So many things to be concerned about...the fees, policies, procedures, dealing with mortgages, lawyers, inspections and most importantly finding that right place to call home.

Going to the Home buyer's seminar was the perfect starting point that got most of my questions answered and then having a professional, knowledgeable and experienced buyer's agent like Sally Cook made the entire process very easy and straight forward. The buyers handbook had all the required information in convenient location with various examples and real life scenarios. The property search emails were invaluable and the step by step guide to buying a home prepared me for what was to come.

The consultation with Sally really helped me narrow down a location, price, features and things to look for in a house and as such my search lasted only one full day before I found the one!

After finding the right place to call home matters could not have been worse since I had to leave town for work...given the pressure and time constraints, I was able to accomplish all the legalities literally thousands of miles away from home thanks to a technologically advanced operation of Sally Cook and her associates who helped me bridge the communication and personal gap between the different parties in my absence.

Sally Cook takes a lot of the stress out of buying a home with her expertise and knowledge in the industry. She makes it look like a breeze and from the start to finish it was like a very professional and well conducted orchestra.

Congrats Sally on a fine job, keep up the great work and thanks for helping me find a beautiful place to call home!
